Three wins in a row for spelling bee contestant from Pawleys Island

Talented students showed off their spelling skills Tuesday night at the 25th annual Regional Spelling Bee.

46 students from Horry and Georgetown counties competed at Myrtle Beach High School.

The Myrtle Beach Sun News put on the bee and reports Isabella Neubauer from Lowcountry Preparatory Middle School in Pawleys Island won the event.

This marks Neubauer's third straight win.

She will receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in late May.
