HARTSVILLE (WBTW) – Hartsville police are searching for a man officers say was involved in two shootings recently.

Police say 24-year-old Tyrez Johnson is wanted for questioning for a shooting at a convenience store at 1316 S. Fifth Street.  He also the following charges related to a shooting on Tillotson Avenue on February 3: two counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

According to a news release, officers describe Johnson as a black male, five feet, eight inches tall, and 155 pounds.  Officers say he goes by the nicknames “Rex” or “T-Rex.”

His information is entered into the N.C.I.C. database, and police do consider him armed and dangerous.
