MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Broadway at the Beach may soon have a new place for people to be entertained and drink. On Thursday, architects with Ole Smoky Moonshine appeared before the Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board to present their design plan for a possible business at Broadway at the Beach.
Currently, owners of the company have a distillery in Tennessee. According to the company website, Ole Smoke Moonshine is a family business with whiskey born in the fertile soil of East Tennessee farms. At the distillery, people can see the grains converted into clear corn liquor.
City officials said, if that distillery is built, Ole Smoky Moonshine would become the only liquor-making business at Broadway at the Beach.
