MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Myrtle Beach Police Department continues to seek the public's help to identity a woman found dead last week on the beach.

Captain David Knipes released a composite sketch Wednesday of the woman's tattoo and hopes this will help in identifying the woman.

Knipes said the body was found deceased on May 25 in the area of 24th Avenue South and the beach.

She is described as a white female in her late 40's to late 50's.  She is between 5'3-5'6 tall, weighing 170-185 pounds with reddish-blonde hair.

The woman had the pictured tattoo on her left ankle.

If anyone has information pertaining to the identify of this person please call the Myrtle Beach Police Department at (843) 918-1382.
