The Henderson County Sheriff's Office has charged a man after investigating injuries suffered by his two-month old child.
Anthony James Bastine, 21, of Hendersonville is charged with felony child abuse – inflicting serious physical injury.
The Henderson County Department of Social Services informed deputies the child was admitted to Mission Hospital with injuries on August 16.
The child was later transported to Chapel Hill Medical Center for treatment of the injuries.
