News13 has learned Tommy Bahama Restaurant located at the Market Common has closed.  This is the statement from Orsi Public Relations that represents Tommy Bahama. “On Sept 5, the Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar at Market Common, Myrtle Beach closed. Meanwhile, the attached retail store which features the entire Tommy Bahama assortment of men's and women's sportswear, swimwear, accessories and home décor items remains open.

Tommy Bahama is always evaluating locations to make sure they meet the needs of our guests and their community. In this case, a Tommy Bahama retail store was the best way to serve our community in Myrtle Beach.”

The chain continues to operate more than 100 stores worldwide 14 of which offer a Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar.  We will have more on this story tonight on News13.
