HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – One person is dead after a wreck in Horry County late Tuesday night.

Troopers say the crash happened around 11:15 p.m. on Highway 22 near Highway 90.

According to Corporal Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, an officer tried to pull the driver over who went through a traffic signal or stop sign, but the driver refused to stop.

The vehicle crashed.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Horry County Sheriff's Office.

Horry County deputy coroner Tamara Willard identifies the victim as Bryan Lamm, 25, of Myrtle Beach. He died of complications from the accident.
