Myrtle Beach police are looking for three suspects who jumped a guy early Wednesday morning near the intersection of 17th Avenue South and Yaupon Drive.

The victim said he was walking west on 17th Avenue South a little after 4:00 a.m. when he was approached by three people.  They kicked him and he fell to the ground.

The 31-year-old victim told police they kicked him until he lost consciousness. The victim stated when he regained consciousness he realized the suspects had taken $7 from him. He thought he was out for maybe 30 or even 45 minutes before he called police.

He described the suspects to police as white males approximately 5'7″ to 5' 10″, thin build, two wearing blue jeans and the other black jeans. He said they were all wearing black jackets.

The police report indicates the victim has a swollen eye and possibly a broken shoulder where he stated he had been kicked. A check of nearby stores didn't turn up anything. Police are still searching for the men.
