Myrtle Beach Police search for a man connected to a strong armed robbery on Saturday at a local pharmacy.
Officers were dispatched to Rite Aid in the 7800-block of North Kings Highway shortly after 10 a.m. Upon arrival, officers learned a man came into the pharmacy area and placed a note on the counter that stated “Don’t be a hero, just give me all of your Oxycodone pills.”
An employee tells police she went into a safe and grabbed “all of the bottles that she could” and gave them to the suspect. The suspect fled the store shortly after.
Police describe the suspect as a white male in his 30s, standing approximately 5’10” with dark brown hair and a beard. The store employee says he was wearing a white baseball hat, a white T-shirt, tan shorts and dark sandals at the time of the alleged robbery.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Myrtle Beach Police.
