South Carolina Law Enforcement Division arrested  Andrew Gajadhar, 30, of Columbia Monday and charged him with 29 counts of perjury.

More than 350 people in 27 counties across the state who obtained a concealed weapons permit from Gajadhar are being notified through the mail that their permits are being revoked and must be surrendered to SLED with 15 days of receiving the letter.  The letter gives instructions how to reinstate their permit once SLED receives proper training documentation.

The arrest warrant states that while Gajadhar was in Richland County, certified through SLED as a CWP instructor, he provided a CWP training certificate without proper training by state law.

The penalty if convicted, could result in a fine and six months in jail or both.
