Performing Arts Academy of Marion to highlight FMU’s Black Heritage Month Program

Francis Marion University will host its annual Black Heritage Month Program on Monday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m.

The featured performers are dancers from Justine Roberts Performing Arts Academy. The event will be held in Chapman Auditorium on campus.

Roberts is a professional dance instructor and owner of the Justine Roberts Performing Arts Academy in Marion. She teaches various styles of dance to more than 60 students, helping them to achieve their dreams through the art of dance and expression. Roberts’ experience includes becoming an artist in residence for the state and teaching in both the public and private sector.

The event is sponsored by the FMU Multicultural Advisory Board and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
