Robeson County authorities investigate homicide

The Robeson County Sheriff’s office investigates a homicide.

According to Major Anthony Thompson with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, It happened early Friday morning around 12:17 a.m. on Blue Road in Parkton, N.C.

Authorities say Frederick Dwayne Locklear, 34 wound to the upper body.

Witnesses on the scene told police that someone knocked at Locklear’s  front door. Locklear went to the door opened it and there was an altercation between Locklear and suspects. Then gunshots were heard.

Witnesses on the scene provided information that the suspects are two black males operating a newer model dark gold colored Volkswagon Beetle. According to witnesses, suspect 1 is described as being 5’8′ with dreads. suspect 2 is described as being 5’4′ wearing a black hoodie.

The suspects were last seen traveling Blue road going towards Parkton.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
