Brush fire burns 3 acres in Carolina Forest

CAROLINA FOREST, S.C. (WBTW) – Firefighters spent hours Friday night getting a brush fire under control in Carolina Forest.

It started at about 6:15 p.m. behind the Carolina Forest library.

Fire investigators blamed lightning. They said it burned three acres.

Firefighters planned to work Friday night to build a perimeter so hot spots wouldn’t spread.
