City of Darlington holds ribbon cutting ceremony for new business

DARLINGTON, S.C. (WBTW) – The Board of Directors of Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association joined together with workers at Auto Money Title Loans on South Main Street in Darlington Saturday afternoon for its official ribbon cutting ceremony.

The business sits just across the street from where the Walmart will be built and city leaders say that’s the perfect location to attract business.

“Just to see the location here means that this is where new businesses are coming. They take advantage not only of this traffic coming down this road, but the people in town also. Great place to locate,” mentioned Darlington Mayor Tony Watkins.

Workers and volunteers at Auto Money Title Loans held a car wash, door prizes and refreshments.
