Motorcycle driver killed deadly Marlboro County crash, SCHP says

MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW)- The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports a deadly crash in Marlboro County Sunday evening.

Troopers say it happened at 5:50pm on Appin Road and U.S. 15 just west of Bennettsville.

Troopers say the driver of a 1979 Suzuki Motorcycle was traveling north on Appin road before losing control and then being thrown from the motorcycle.

The Highway Patrol says the driver was not wearing a helmet.

The victim’s identify has not been released at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
