Traffic impacts expected for Glenn’s Bay Road work

Work on the Glenn's Bay Road and U.S. Highway 17 Bypass intersection will impact traffic this week.

CONWAY (WBTW) – Horry County officials announced some impacts expected as crews continue work on the Glenn’s Bay Road/U.S. Highway 17 Bypass intersection.

There will be a Shoulder Closure on Glenn’s Bay Rd from US 17 Business to Evergreen Circle on the East and West bound shoulders for utility relocation work.  The work will take place Monday July 27th – Friday July 31st between the hours of 7am – 7 pm.

There will be a multiple lane closure including traffic shifting on Holmestown Rd east bound from Blue Jay Dr. to US 17 Bypass.  Both east bound lanes will be closed and traffic will be shifted into the median.  This work will be performed Wednesday NIGHT July 29th between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am.

There will be a multiple lane closure including traffic shifting on Holmestown Rd west bound from US 17 Bypass to Blue Jay Dr.  This Closure will impede traffic traveling east and west bound on Holmestown Rd.  It is asked that traffic use caution and follow traffic control devices and signage.  This work will be performed Thursday NIGHT July 30th between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am.
