Argument leads to attempted murder charge for Myrtle Beach man

MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) — Horry County Police have released the identity of the Myrtle Beach man they say shot another person after an argument Thursday morning.

Lt. Raul Denis said officers responded to 4718 Northgate Boulevard at 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

A man told police he was in a car when the person he was traveling with become angry and difficult to deal with. After a confrontation in the car, police say 24-year-old Darius Carter, of Myrtle Beach, shot the victim. Carter is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Police say the wounded man suffered non life-threatening injuries and should be ok.
