Email from ‘Family of Vester Flanagan’ sent to WDBJ7 newsroom

ROANOKE, VA (WBTW) – An email was sent to the WDBJ7 News team from someone presenting themselves as a member of Vester Flanagan’s family.

While the letter does not include a specific name of a sender, it is signed, “The Family of Vester Flanagan.” Vester Flanagan is the suspected gunman behind the brutal murders of two WDBJ7 journalists who were working Wednesday morning when they were shot on live TV.

The email offers “condolences to the families of Alison Parker and Adam Ward.”
