Myrtle Beach Labor Day weekend event guide

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Labor Day weekend in Myrtle Beach has long been known as summer’s last hooray, and with all the events going on along the Grand Strand, Labor Day 2015 will not disappoint.

The crowds will flock to Myrtle Beach as the city was one of TripAdvisor’s Vacation Rentals’ Most Popular Labor Day Destinations.
One of the most popular events in Myrtle Beach will be the annual Coastal Uncorked, returning to the Grand Strand this summer, but in a different venue. Head to Broadway at the Beach to take part on Chocolate Under the Moon Friday from 5-9 p.m. Beer lover unite at Brews’ N The Beach Saturday from 4-8 p.m. The Coastal Uncorked weekend will conclude with Sunday’s event, the Grand Wine Tasting Tent from 1-6 p.m.

If you’re looking for a family friendly event, be sure to stop by Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival Friday from 6-9:30 and on Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. at Market Common.

And new to Myrtle Beach this summer, chow down on some hot wings. For only a $1 per wing, the public can sample over 25 types of specially prepared wings from the cook teams beginning at 6:00 pm (while supplies last). Event proceeds from the wing competition will be donated to the HGTC Culinary Institute.

Finally, don’t miss the finale to Boardwalk’s Got Talent Friday night from 7-10 p.m. at the I Love Sugar Stage.
