Myrtle Beach, SC – Rick Sarver has just announced his decision to run for City Council of Myrtle Beach for the November 3, 2015 election. Rick, along with his wife DeAnn, relocated to Myrtle Beach from Charlotte, NC in April of 2010. They are local business owners and operators of the Boardwalk Coffeehouse located at 104 9th Ave N. in Myrtle Beach on the new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.
Sarver has been actively involved in the community since his arrival to Myrtle Beach. He presently serves on the Myrtle Beach Downtown Redevelopment Corporation board and is also President of the Ocean Merchants Association.
Sarver says, “Downtown Myrtle Beach represents the very heart of the Grand Strand. It’s where it all began and I believe that by bringing new life back to the heart, in turn, will cause a ripple effect that will economically impact the entire Grand Strand region for the years to come.”
Sarver believes that the local population of Myrtle Beach will also grow and thrive as we begin to provide the right type of incentives to attract new business to our area. In doing such, it will provide new opportunities for families to plant their roots and call Myrtle Beach home.
Sarver says that he has seen a lot of positive things take place since his arrival in 2010, but says there is still much more to do. Sarver says, “he is up to the task and is well qualified to help lead Myrtle Beach into a bright and prosperous future.” For more information, you may visit the Elect Rick Sarver for city council website at www.RickSarver.com or send an E-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
