Myrtle Beach police investigate beachwear store shooting

MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) — Myrtle Beach Police are looking for whoever shot a man in a beachwear store parking lot Wednesday night.

Police say they were called to the Eagles Beachwear parking lot on 19th Avenue North around just before midnight after a reported shooting.

According to the MBPD website, officers found a 61-year-old man inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound.  he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Witnesses described the suspects as two black males in their early 20’s.  One was wearing a black hat and light colored shorts and the other was wearing a dark jacket.  Both were last seen running east on 19th Avenue North towards Withers Drive, the report said.
