Troopers find meth lab during Marion County traffic stop, 2 people arrested

MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW)- Marion County Deputies arrested two people after finding components of a meth lab in their vehicle on Saturday night.

Major Brian Wallace with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office says Highway Patrol made the traffic stop on Highway 378 Saturday evening just near the Florence County line.

Deputies arrested Courtney Lynn Posey, 22 from Neeses and Danny Ray Suggs, 40 from Columbia. Major Wallace says charges are pending.

Officials say troopers found the ingredients for a meth lab but it was not active at the time.
