32nd Annual Taste of the Town, October 6

Myrtle Beach, SC –  Since 1956, St. Andrew Catholic School has provided students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth with an education of academic excellence that is rooted in faith and love. St. Andrew embraces the community through school-wide service projects, instilling in its students the importance and value of living a life of “service beyond self”.

In 1984, a creative group of parents organized the first Taste of the Town as a fundraiser for St. Andrew Catholic School. The fledgling event made its debut hosting about 20 restaurants, it was well-attended, and the event gained immediate popularity in the Myrtle Beach community.

Now in its 32nd year, Taste of the Town features 50+ restaurants, culinary awards, live entertainment, and is poised as one of the Grand Strand area’s most highly anticipated food festivals. Over the past several years, attendance of this one-night event has soared to 8,000 – 10,000 locals and visitors. Taste of the Town’s growing success is greatly made possible by the generous contributions of local businesses through various levels of sponsorship.
