Phillip Guderyon

MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) — Myrtle Beach Police arrested a man they say attacked and killed someone at a restaurant at Broadway at the Beach earlier this month.

Early Thursday morning, police arrested 32-year-old Phillip Guderyon and charged him with the murder of Justin Hodges at Carlos’n Charlie’s on October 17.

Police say that night Guderyon ambushed Hodges and suffered a head injury. Hodges was taken to the hospital and did regain consciousness but then died Sunday.

His body has been sent for an autopsy, according to the coroner’s office.
