New street sweeper in service in North Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The City of North Myrtle Beach has put a new street sweeper into service. It replaces a much older model that over the past year has spent more time in the shop than it has on the road.

The new sweeper will be of great help in keeping dirt and other debris out of street-side storm water drains.

In the accompanying photo, North Myrtle Beach Motor Equipment Operator Gary Hamm stands beside the new sweeper after making a run down Main Street.
