SC high school wrestling coach arrested for criminal sexual conduct

LAURENS, SC – The Laurens Police Department arrested and charged a reported high school coach with criminal sexual conduct Thursday.

According to the Police Department, Joseph Ned Kemp, 29 of Laurens is an assistant coach with the Laurens High School wrestling team.

Kemp is officially charged with criminal sexual conduct 2nd degree. He was arrested after a SRO at Laurens High School brought forward allegations and evidence of criminal activity to the police department.
