MURRELLS INLET, SC (WBTW) – One of the things that Murrells Inlet is known for is the charm of beautiful homes along the waterfront.
On Saturday eight homeowners and one church opened up their doors for the Murrells Inlet 2020 Club’s Inlet Christmas Home Tour.
Each home was decorated for Christmas to showcase the character of the Inlet during the holidays.
One of the historic homes on Highway 17 was originally built in 1850 and moved to its current location in the 1970’s, before being purchased by its current owners two years ago.
Organizers of the home tour said the house is one of the highlights.
“They have a really quirky sense of humor so their decorations are really fun, people will stop on the road at night because its all lit up in here so it’s really a lot of fun,” said Renee Williamson, executive director of Murrells Inlet 2020.
Murrells Inlet’s christmas weekend continues Sunday afternoon with a Christmas Parade at 3:00.
Make sure you say hello to the News13 team who are all looking forward to being a part of the fun.
