ANDREWS, SC (WBTW) – A former Andrews Police Officer was jailed Thursday morning for petit larceny after state officials say he used a department credit card for personal use.
According to a press release from South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Eric Wilson, 51, is charged with petit larceny. Wilson is a former Andrews Police Officer, according to SLED.
The arrest warrant for Wilson states that the former officer used a work credit card while off duty between August 2015 and October 21, 2015, to purchase approximately $300 in gas for his personal vehicles.
Wilson was booked into the Georgetown County Detention Center Thursday morning at 11:38 a.m. and was released less than 30 minutes later on a $2,130 bond, according to online booking records.
