News13 launches state-of-the-art news set

News13 launches state-of-the-art news set January 16, 2016.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – WBTW News13 has been working behind the scenes to create a brand new, innovative news set to allow our viewers to better enjoy each newscast and to deliver the news in a more interactive way.

After a two month process of tearing down the old set, many pieces of which we were able to donate to the arts department of local schools, building a new set and allowing our news team to practice the multiple different camera shots, we were ready to launch. News13 Saturday morning was the beginning of a new era for the WBTW team.

As we continue to bring neighbors in the Grand Strand, Pee Dee, and North Carolina border areas the latest in local news, community events and weather that affects your day, we hope you will enjoy the new ways we deliver that information.

The News13 team appreciates your patience as we made the transition to the state-of-the-art set, and we hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoy utilizing our new tools to better serve our communities.
