Neighborhood watch meetings look to prevent Myrtle Beach crime

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Several Neighborhood Watch meetings are scheduled through mid-February to make community members in Myrtle Beach neighborhoods more aware of incidents occurring in their area and how to be proactive against crime.

Crime Prevention Officers with Myrtle Beach Police will be at each of the meetings to answer questions and inform neighbors of trends the department is seeing in or around the particular community.

  • Cresswind – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, Clubhouse, 1947 Cresswind Boulevard
  • Bay Pointe – 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 1401 Fisher Place
  • Monticello – 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 1300 Osceola Street
  • Old Pine Lakes – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, Fire Station No. 6, 38th Avenue North
  • Golden Mile – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, La Quinta, 4709 North Kings Highway
  • The Dunes – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 9000 North Ocean Boulevard
