Woman steals PlayStation, gun from Shallotte home, deputies say

SHALLOTTE, NC (WBTW) – Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the community’s help in finding a Longwood woman wanted for stealing a game system and gun.

Jayme Lynn Schmidt, 23, of Longwood is charged with breaking and entering and larceny stemming from an incident that occurred on March 1. The arrest warrant for Schmidt states she broke into a home on Royal Oak Drive and stole a Sony PlayStation and a Mossberg Shotgun.

Schmidt is a white female, standing about 5’4″ tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has reddish brown hair and hazel eyes, according to detectives.
