Kroger store’s unisex restroom sign goes viral

ATHENS, GA (WCMH) — You can call it a sign of the times, literally. A sign on the door of a unisex restroom at Kroger store in Athens, Georgia has gone viral on social media.

The sign says the unisex facility is in place “because sometimes gender specific toilets put others into uncomfortable situations.”

The sign also notes the bathroom is in place for “Dads with daughters, Moms with sons, Parents with disabled children, Those in the LGBTQ, Adults with aging parents who may be mentally or physically disabled.”

Tonya Owens posted a photo of the sign on Kroger’s Facebook page with the caption that said simply “Nice job Kroger.”
