MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)- City leaders say repaving of Highway 15 will occur this week, weather permitting.
Crews will work from Third Avenue South to Harrelson Boulevard. The work will be done during the daytime, although pavement markings may be painted into the evening.
Lane closures will occur, with a flagman directing motorists around the work zone.
Drivers are asked to avoid Highway 15, if possible, during the four days necessary to complete the project.
The repaving contractor will then move to 17th Avenue South, between Highway 15 and Kings Highway.
