Conway man charged after North Myrtle Beach armed robbery

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)- A Conway man is in jail after officers say he robbed a North Myrtle Beach Circle K at gunpoint.

Officers responded to the Circle K on S. Highway 17 around 5pm on Tuesday afternoon. Witnesses told officers a man entered the store, and pointed a revolver at the clerks and demanded money. Officers say after the man got the money, he left the store on foot towards 33rd Avenue South.

Nobody was hurt.

Officers say they caught 21-year-old Nathan Patrick Wise of Conway around 40th Avenue South.

Wise is charged with possession of a controlled substance and armed robbery.

He’s currently held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a 31k bond.
