FLORENCE, S.C. (PRESS RELEASE)- Deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies participated in the first annual “Cops On Top,” an operation benefitting Special Olympics South Carolina on May 12 and 13, 2016.  The event was held at the Chick-Fil-A located at 2016 South Irby Street in Florence, SC.  Deputies and Investigators from FCSO, South Carolina Highway Patrol Troop 5 and the South Carolina Transport Police received donations including loose change at the restaurant and drive-thu,  while handing out t-shirts, hats and bracelets as officers on the roof encouraged donations.
