LUMBERTON (WBTW) — The Lumber River Day Festival returns this weekend in Robeson County.
On Saturday, July 16, everyone is invited to enjoy what the river has to offer by accessing Lumber River State Park on Princess Anne Road, which is between Orrum and the state line, off Interstate 74.
The festival is between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and will include canoe rides and races, booths and exhibits to check out, a fishing contest for kids, a casting contest, a wet t-shirt race for kids, and much more.
There will also be door prizes, bluegrass music performances, representatives from the Lumbee Tribe, arts and crafts vendors, and refreshments.
