EFFINGHAM, SC (WBTW) – McCall Farms, a major player in the Pee Dee economy, is looking forward to getting even bigger soon.
McCall is planning to expand with several new facilities opening across Florence County over the next four years.
The company is projected to make a $23 million investment to increase production and bring over 150 jobs to the region. Thursday Florence County council approved an ordinance to allow a tax agreement with McCall in order to complete the project.
McCall produces Glory Foods and Margaret Holmes brands supplying most of the Southeast with canned fruits and vegetables.
