Police look for man who robbed Shallotte Dollar General in disguise

SHALLOTTE, NC (WBTW) – Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery at a Dollar General that happened Saturday night.

Police say that an armed man walked in to the store on Brick Landing Road around 9:55 p.m. Saturday and demanded money from the store employees.

There were not any customers in the store at the time, and officials say no one was injured.

The male had what appeared to be makeup and a wig on to disguise himself, but witnesses were still able to describe him as being between 5’10” and 6’1″ tall and weighing between 170 and 200 pounds.
