NASCAR postpones Friday events at Darlingon Raceway

DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – NASCAR officials have officially postponed all Friday track activities at Darlington Raceway for the possibility of inclement weather.

Darlington Raceway PR Director Dennis Worden says that the weather forecast for the rest of the weekend looks good and an updated schedule for Saturday and Sunday will be distributed later today.

Worden also says Thursday night’s Darlington Car Hauler Parade will continue as scheduled.

All press conferences and the Special Ceremony for Cale Yarborough are cancelled.

Friday grandstand ticket holders may bring their ticket to the ticket office on Saturday and receive $5 off an admission to the NASCAR XFINITY Series VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 race.
