Florence police ask for public’s help in deadly hit and run case

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence Police Department is asking for the public’s help solving a deadly hit and run crash.

According to Lt. Mike Brandt, they are looking for the driver that crashed into a pedestrian on August 20 on the 500 block of South Church Street just before 1:30 a.m.

The driver left the scene in a blue Chevy Cobalt with rear spoiler and tinted windows, Brandt said.
