Human trafficking workshop to be held in Myrtle Beach in October

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Professor Robyn Causey and Sea Haven Inc. are hosting a workshop on human trafficking.

Robyn Causey has over 20 years of experience in the field of Social Work. Ms. Causey is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She is considered to be a national expert in the areas of human trafficking, domestic violence, corrections, and vulnerable youth. Currently, Ms. Causey is an Assistant Chair and college professor at
Horry Georgetown Technical College. She speaks internationally, and is completing her first book entitled Beyond the Band-Aid.

The workshop is Friday, October 7, at the Grand Strand Campus Conference center located at 950 Crabtree Lane, Myrtle Beach.

Registration is from 8:30 – 9:00 am. The workshop is from 9:00 am – 1 pm. The cost is $10. RSVP by Monday, October 3.
