MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Thursday Myrtle Beach police arrested a man accused of indecent exposure.

On Tuesday, officers with the Myrtle Beach Police Department were called to Chic and Chuc on North King’s Highway in reference to an assault.

The report says the victim told police the suspect entered the store and asked her to try on something so he could see what it looks like because she was about the same size as his wife. The victim told him that she would only place the dress over her clothes.

When she went to try on the dress, she saw the curtain open in the mirror and when she turned around, the suspect had exposed himself and he was blocking the doorway. When she tried to run away, he pushed her back into the room. The second time she tried to get away, she ran out of the front doors of the store and the suspect ran out with her, making lewd comments, and climbed into a red 4-door car and drove away.

Larry Eugene Smith was arrested on charges of kidnapping and two counts of indecent exposure on Oak Street Thursday.
