MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach Police arrested one man Wednesday in connection to a robbery that happened on 7th Avenue in 2012.
According to the incident report, officers were called to a parking lot on 7th Avenue Nov. 4, 2012 and met the victim near her cab early in the morning.
The victim reported that she received a call earlier that night from a man who was asking about her taxi company and asked for her phone number to call her when he needed a ride. Around 1:30 a.m., the man called asking for a ride from his hotel.
Reports say the victim drove the man to the location he asked and after making a stop, he got back into the cab and sat down in the front passenger seat. The suspect was holding an unopened silver pocket knife and asked for the victim’s money. She gave the suspect $80 in cash and he left, headed west on 7th Avenue North.
Patrick Nunn,31, was taken into custody at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, almost four years later. He was charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. No bond is set at this time.
