Brunswick County detectives arrest man wanted on burglary, larceny charges

WILMINGTON, NC (WBTW) – On Wednesday, detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office say they arrested a Wilmington man wanted on several charges.

Brian Michael Gines, 27, of Wilmington was wanted on charges of second degree burglary, larceny after breaking or entering, and misdemeanor larceny, stemming from an incident that occurred on Oct. 22 at a home on Sassapan Drive in Shallotte. Warrants say he is accused of stealing a laptop, a digital camera, and a gaming system.

Gines was picked up in New Hanover County and is waiting to be transferred to Brunswick County.
