City crews remove parking meters from select parts of Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Parking is free again in Myrtle Beach, at least for a few months.

City crews were out Tuesday morning removing the parking meters from different areas, including 8th Avenue North.

Locals and visitors can now park in the public spaces free of charge through Feb. 28. Parking fees begin again March 1 and last through Oct. 31.
