Two employees shot at Lumberton McDonald’s

LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – The Lumberton Police Department is investigating the shooting of two employees at the McDonald’s fast food restaurant on Roberts Avenue Friday night.

Captain Terry Parker confirmed that a man shot the two employees after they asked the gunman and a group with him to move their car for a delivery truck around 9:45 p.m. After the shooting the group left in the car.

Police are working to find the man who shot the employees. A description of the shooter or his car was not given.

Parker said the employees are expected to recover from their injuries.
