Woman punched in face during Little River Burger King robbery, report says

LITTLE RIVER, SC (WBTW) – Horry County police detectives say they arrested a Little River woman after she punched another women in the face during a robbery.

According to a police report, officers arrested Frances Marie Rainey, 34, after she robbed a woman at a Little River Burger King restaurant Wednesday, just before 6 p.m.

Police say Rainey approached the victim inside in the restaurant while she was eating, tossed a dollar bill on the floor next to her and told the victim she dropped some money. When the victim looked down, the victim said Rainey grabbed the wallet out of her purse and then punched her in the face.

Rainey left the restaurant, leaving the victim with a bloody nose, the report said.

Rainey was later caught by police and charged with robbery, drug possession, and a fugitive from justice charge.
