GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – Officials say the man pulled from a canal Thursday afternoon in Georgetown County has died.
Georgetown County Deputy Coroner Paulette Radcliffe says Jeffrey Noon, 23, of Georgetown was found in the water yesterday and pronounced dead at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital at 4:16 p.m.
The autopsy performed Friday morning shows the cause of death is drowning. Foul play is not suspected, Radcliffe says.
According to the release from Public Information Officer Alma Sierra, EMS arrived at the location adjacent to Live Oak Lane around 3:41 p.m. and transported the man to the hospital.
