Lake City police respond to armed robbery at Walmart

LAKE CITY, SC (WBTW)- The Lake City Police Department is investigating after they were called to a robbery at Walmart late Thursday night.

Lake City Police Chief Kip Coker says one person served as a lookout while an armed subject ran in to the store on US-52 and ordered an employee to open a cart containing cash. The subject reached in, took the cash and ran out.
