SALUDA, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say the body of a woman found at a trash dump in Edgefield County is a Ridge Spring woman missing for more than two months.
Saluda County deputies said in a news release that a task force has been created to help figure out who killed Nancy Lott.
Authorities say Lott’s body was found Aug. 12 at the dump which takes trash from Aiken, Edgefield and Saluda counties.
Deputies did not say how Lott was killed.
Authorities did release a profile of her possible killer, saying the suspect will likely follow all media coverage now that Lott’s death has been announced and ask friends and others if they have been contacted by law enforcement.
